This hotel will do anything they can to ensure you have a good time, they take such great care of you. I would recommend booking a transfer directly with Ikos from the airport, as we used a third party transfer and we had an angry taxi driver abandon us at the front gates of the hotel. Fortunately Ikos was so lovely about it, doing all they could to welcome us to make up for it (even though it wasn't their fault as the transfer was nothing to do with them!). A great welcome made us feel right at home and immediately made us feel better. Communicating via WhatsApp is great, it's so easy to book an activity or ask the team a query this way. The food is AMAZING, trying out the restaurants each with beautiful views was one of our favourite parts of the holiday. I would recommend booking your restaurants well in advance though, you can book up to 2 months before you go. We ate at all the restaurants except Provence as we didn't like much on the menu there, but it meant we could go to our favourites a few times. The beach club and Fresco were our favourite. During the day the staff offer you snacks and drinks around the pool. We did kayaking on the sea, went cycling along the beach, played basketball and tennis and all included in the cost of your stay! The all inclusive vibe is great, and the staff encourage you to make the most of it - unlike some hotels I've been to in the paat who clearly don't want you to make full use of it. The only down side to this hotel was the beach - a bit smelly as its near some drains, and it was so windy that the sea wasn't very inviting with big waves. We are 'pool people' so we don't spend much time on the beach anyway so no problem for us, we'd enjoy a little stroll along the beach in the evening to watch the windsurfers and that was fine for us. However may be an issue if you like to go for a swim in the sea. They do have sunbeds and a bar on the beach though so I think Ikos are doing all they can, they can't help that it's not the best part of the beach.
